MY DAD
A special dad is hard to find, for that we know is true
you gave to me unselfishly every single part of you, your winning smile, those sparkling eyes, the way you made me laugh, i know you were peaceful as you travelled heaven's path, your memory dad is my inner strength, which will last a whole life through
God threw away the mould dad the day that he made you
whenever i am lonely and need your loving hand
i know that you will guide me in life to understand
that each day you will walk beside me, i will never be alone
The only thing thats changed dad is that you are not at home.

Dad and Mum
Never more than a thought away
still love and miss you both everyday.
Mum you will never know the hurt
and anger that I felt during your final hours
I do not blame you for any of it, I was not far
away from you during your last hours and
tried so so hard to be with you. I will always
remember with fondness the good times we shared,
and the laughs we had, your spirit was well and
truly broken by some people and beleive me
they have a lot to answer for, but Mum
you are now at peace and with Dad, and
I know you will take good care of each other.
Please always know Mum you were loved
by each and everyone of us, your grandchildren
and your great granchildren also.
What you were put through by your so
called loving son and his wife
was a disgrace, you so never deserved
any of that.
One good thing Mum to come out of all this
is that the five of us have all stood by each other
and will continue to do so throughout our lives.
May you and Dad find everlasting peace
with the Angels and your loved ones in Heaven.
Gone but never ever will you both be forgotten.

Just to say you are both
loved and missed everyday.
Not a day goes past that I
do not think of you both.
Mum just to let you know
I tried so hard to be with you
in your final hours, but was
denied being with you,
I sat outside your room along
with Marion and we prayed you would
know we were there, what happened
was disgusting but I want you to know
we do not blame you in
anyway for all that happened.
I know you and Dad are now together
and are now at peace, you both left
behind some wonderful memories.
no one can ever take these away from us,
I wll always treasure the good times
we shared as a happy family,
please know we will never ever forget you both.
Lord in your home above, please look for my
Mum and Dad, and when they turn to smile
please hold them for a while give them a hug and

Our world just falls apart

My Fathers Hands
Looking down at my Fathers hands,
they were once so big and strong.
To see how Cancer grabbed him,
was an image that seemed so wrong.
I only saw brief glimpses, of the man he used to be.
Loud and opionionated, well thats how he seemed to me.
We came together because we loved him,
It was time to say goodbye.
We laughed, joked, hugged and kissed,
and at the end we cried.
The past is long forgotten,
The future will never be.
Time lost can not be found,
This is the harsh reality.
But I will always be his Daughter,
And he will always be my Dad.
